The Venice 23 Biennale was born as an occurrence due to the fact that our offices and those of the architecture studio Operadora are located in the street Venice, number 23, colonia Juárez. Together with them, Ana Nuño and Luis Young, we developed this project as a pretext to present the ideas of young architects.
For this first edition, entitled The architectural floor, the participants were invited to make an architectural intervention on a plant (photosynthetic living being), and to complement it with the floor of the plant (architectural drawing) and a short text describing the piece.
The show with the 36 architectural proposals was exhibited in Venice 23 from August 16 to 19 and subsequently presented in Archivo. Design and Architecture from August 21 to September 1.
This is the result (in form of publication) of that occurrence. Designed at Proyectos ninguém by Maru Calva and María Marín de Buen.
