Contested Games: Mexico 68’s Design Revolution

Publication designed for exhibition on the 1968 Olympics and the Mexican student movement propaganda at Essex Gallery in London.
The idea behind the publication is to represent the ways in which the 1968 Mexico Olympics were used to cover the violent position the government took towards the student movement.
The book can be read in many ways: the reader can play with the publication by showing and hiding the hard facts about the movement behind the spectacular official Olympic identity designed by Lance Wyman.
